Last week I mentioned that NTR made an unheard of discovery from the sampling of a rock outcropping that returned an average of 50 oz/t over 9 samples, with one sample return 140 oz/t gold! You can almost make a joke that just from the sampling program alone... these guys are rich! LOL
Anyway, I mentioned that NTR would be a great momo play... and so far hitting a high of .37 today from .26 when I mentioned it after the close it has certainly paid off. That is 42% gain in a week...!!! I think there is still more momentum left in this play. If it can't break .40 with authority then that may be a place to get off and rest for awhile.
What I find significant after re - evaluation and makes me want to stay in this play even though the nature of it just being samples... is the fact that the vein they discovered is not small. It's not massive from surface indications, but from all indications, it is certainly not a sliver in the ground.
The samples were taken from a 5 meter by 15 meter area which indicates quite a large vein for the high grade nature of the samples. If this vein is significant at all and can return a fraction of the grades in the samples.. then NTR may have made another discovery in the Yukon.
At any rate, I am not sure if NTR will be drilling this summer to follow up this discovery, so the excitement will fade until they start plugging holes in the ground, but have fun while the NTR stays in the headlines. :)
It certainly represents an exciting discovery in the Yukon which continues to bring about gold discover after discovery. Certainly for explorers like Underworld, Kaminik, and now hopefully Northern Tiger, the Yukon is making dreams come true.
